SEBI Relaxes FPI KYC Review Timelines
The Securities and Exchange Board of India has eased know-your-customer requirements for foreign portfolio investors, extending the periodic review cycle in certain cases to as long as eight years. The revised framework takes effect on December 1 and is intended to cut down on repetitive compliance work and make it simpler for overseas investors to take part in Indian capital markets.
