Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how to cancel an engagement with Voltz Fillings and what happens to the money you have paid. It applies to online payments and to invoice-based engagements, and forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. How to cancel
Send a written cancellation request to our support email or raise it from your dashboard, quoting your reference number. We will acknowledge it within one business day and confirm the refund position after checking how far work has progressed.
2. Before we start work
If you cancel before we begin preparation — meaning no document has been drafted for you, no authority login used, and no fee deposited — we refund the professional fee in full. Where a payment gateway charged us a transaction fee, that actual cost is deducted; it is not our charge and we cannot recover it.
3. After work has started
Compliance work is largely labour performed in advance of delivery, so a partial refund applies once preparation begins:
- Documents drafted or application prepared but not filed: refund after deducting the professional time already spent, normally 50% of the fee.
- Application filed with the authority: no refund of the professional fee, because the filing service has been delivered.
- Objection or reply work already undertaken: no refund for that stage.
- You do not provide documents or approvals within 30 days of our request and the application lapses: no refund; we can restart on a fresh engagement.
4. Government fees and third-party costs
Government fees, stamp duty, challans, publication fees, trademark advertisement fees, notarisation, apostille, translation, courier and any authority-imposed penalty or late fee are never refundable by us. They are paid to, or retained by, the authority. If an authority refunds you directly, that money is yours and we will pass on any credit we receive.
5. Rejected or refused applications
A refusal by an authority is not automatically a refund event. Where the refusal is due to incorrect or incomplete information you provided, fees are not refundable. Where we determine that the refusal resulted from our own filing error, we will either re-file at no additional professional fee or refund the professional fee for that stage, at your option, subject to the non-refundable costs above.
6. Duplicate or excess payments
If you pay twice for the same service, or overpay because of a technical error, the extra amount is refunded to the original payment method within 5 working days of verification. Amounts received against the wrong invoice are adjusted or returned once reconciled.
7. Refund method and timeline
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method — card, UPI, net banking or wallet — normally within 5 to 7 working days of approval, and up to 10 working days where your bank or card issuer takes longer to post the credit. We do not refund to a third-party account, in cash, as credit toward unrelated purchases, or as a loan against documents. Bank charges levied by your bank on the inbound refund are outside our control.
8. Ongoing and subscription engagements
Monthly or annual compliance retainers can be cancelled with effect from the next billing cycle by written notice at least 7 days before renewal. The current cycle is not prorated once the month has begun. Unused advisory hours, if your plan includes them, expire at the end of the paid period.
9. Digital content and instant-delivery services
Report downloads, calculator outputs, templates and instant access to digital content are treated as delivered at the moment of download and are not refundable once accessed, except where the content is demonstrably defective. You consent to delivery beginning immediately for such items.
10. No-cost cancellation cases
We refund in full — including any fee already deducted — where we cancel an engagement ourselves, where we cannot accept it after taking payment, or where a refund is directed by a consumer forum or court.
11. Taxes on refunds
Refunds are processed against the original tax invoice, and GST already deposited is reversed through a credit note where the law permits. The credit note is issued to you along with the refund.
12. Grievance redressal
If a refund is delayed beyond the stated timeline or you dispute our assessment, write to the contact below. We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 15 days. You retain your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including approaching the consumer commission, and nothing in this policy takes those rights away.

Write to our grievance redressal contact and we will acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 15 days.
